Srinagar District to Conduct T2 Exams for Classes 1st to 7th and 9th
Srinagar district in Jammu and Kashmir will conduct T2 exams for classes 1st to 7th and 9th from the second week of March. As per the district authorities, the exams will follow the old pattern this year, and the New Education Policy (NEP) will be implemented from the next session onwards.
The district authorities announced that the respective school authorities will manage the date sheet and assessment of these classes. The examination will be conducted at the school level as per the past practice.
All government and private schools in Srinagar district will conduct the Term End Assessment (T2) for classes 1st to 7th and 9th starting from the second week of March 2023.
The Principal of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Tahira Hilali, said, “This year, the exams will follow the old pattern, and from the next session, we will conduct the exams as per the New Education Policy (NEP).”
She further urged all schools to issue the date sheet at the school level with proper dissemination. The decision to follow the old pattern this year is aimed at enabling the students to become familiar with the examination format and better prepare for the next session’s exams as per the NEP.
